Comme nous avons un weekend de m.. pluie, j'en profite pour utiliser ma nouvelle machine à laver les vinyles avec la méthode "Record cleaning overkill " trouvée sur le Net.
La voici :
Step 1-Use a pre-cleaner (VPI PRO Cleaner) to remove the largest particles and get the record base ready for the enzyme cleaning. I use a VPI brush to get into the grooves.
Step 2-Vacuum the record, both sides, using my VPI 17 Cleaning machine.
Step 3-Use MFSL Deep Enzyme Cleaner to enzyme clean the grooves. I use a VPI Medium brush to get the cleaner in the grooves. Let it sit on each side for 1-2 minutes depending on dirt level of record.
Step 4-Vacuum the record again, each side 3-4 rotations.
Step 5-Use MFSL Super Deep Cleaner to clean both sides using MFSL velvet brush. 3-5 rotations after soaked.
Step 6-Vacuum record again using VPI 17, 3-4 rotations.
Step 7-Use Disc Doctor Miracle Fluid to coat grooves. This is a Cleaner/Lubricant that coats the vinyl and "polishes" the grooves to really improve sound quality.
Step 8-Vacuum the record again, 3-5 rotations, both sides
Step 9-Using MFSL Pure Water, rinse record using a different MFSL Velvet brush and let it spin for 3-5 rotations.
Step 10-FINALLY vacuum the record a final time, both sides until bone dry...
Acheter les produits a été assez onéreux, mais bon je devais le faire pour me satisfaire. Notez que j'utiliserais cette méthode qu'une seule fois sur chaque vinyle. Ensuite un nettoyage plus léger sera assez.
C'est partie ....
